Everything You Need to Know About Cybervergent
Getting Started
- Use the link – https://cloud.cybervergent.com/auth/signup to register as Super Admin on our Digital Trust platform.
- Access the signup/registration link via your email inbox.
- Always ensure you use a work email address to sign up for your organization.
- Fill mandatory fields.
- If you encounter an error response – “Business Name does not match,” use your domain as Business Name (this can be updated in Settings).
- Do not hesitate to notify us when you receive a pop-up, “A Product Success Officer will contact you.”
- CPU SPEED: At least 1.5 GHz dual-core processor.
- RAM: At least 2 GB, with 6 to 8 GB recommended for comfortable multitasking.
- GPU: At least 256 MB video memory with modern graphics support.
- OS: Microsoft Windows 8 and above, Mac 10.15 and above, and Linux – All Operating Systems that support the latest Chrome and Firefox browsers.
- SUPPORTED WEB BROWSERS: Chrome, Brave, Firefox, Microsoft Edge, and Safari.
- INTERNET SPEED: Around 25–30 Mbps.
- OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Enable Cookies and Javascript.
- Go to https://cloud.cybervergent.com on your browser and click the Forgot Password option.
- Input the email used to sign up on Cybervergent.
- Click on submit.
- Go to your email inbox.
- Click on the link in your inbox to reset your password.
To sign in to the platform, go to https://cloud.cybervergent.com on your browser and input your work credentials.
- Go to Settings.
- Select Company.
- You can proceed to update your company name, industry, email address, address, website, phone number, or logo.
- Save changes.
- Go to Settings.
- Select Password.
- Enter current and new password.
- Save changes.
No, only the person assuming the Super Admin role needs to sign up. They can then add other users within the organization.
To add your coworkers to your dashboard, first ensure you are a Super Admin then take the steps listed below:
- Click the ‘Settings’ tab > toggle to ‘Users’ > select the ‘Add User’ option.
- Fill in relevant credentials of the ‘New User’ > select a ‘Business Unit’; you may pick ‘Default’ > give this ‘New User’ the required permissions; you may pick ‘Admin’ where the user is expected to perform most tasks.
- Review the ‘Permissions’ and credentials and submit.
- The ‘New User’ will receive a sign-in email.

A Business Unit enables you to manage your coworkers on the platform and further segment their roles and responsibilities. To set up Business Units on your organization's behalf, follow these steps:
- Click the ‘Settings’ tab.
- Toggle to ‘Business Units’
- Select the ‘Create Business Unit’ option.
- Create a Profile for the Business Unit and submit.
An Assessor is any organization in charge of auditing your Artefacts, Controls, and collaborating with your team on different initiatives. To add Assessor, follow these steps:
Assessor capabilities:
- Click the ‘Settings’ tab.
- Select ‘Assessor’ button
- Click ‘Update Assessor’
- Include the credentials of your Assessor: please use any Cybervergent email to add our organization. The Assessor email must exist as a user on Cybervergent platform
- Give the following access and rights to the Assessor: Access Initiative, Assign Assessor, Download Initiative Report, Validate Assessment, Download Assessment Evidence, Assign Delegation, Collaboration, Impact Assessment Dashboard, and Mark Initiative Complete.
- Select the highlighted Permissions.
- Review and submit.
A Delegate is an external organization that has been granted access to your initiatives. Before adding a Delegate, confirm that they have a profile on Cybervergent platform. Next, follow the steps to add a Delegate::
- Go to Settings.
- Select Delegate.
- Click Add Delegate.
- Input the email address of the Delegate
- Click Next and submit to add Delegate.
- You can view activities, tasks, and ongoing initiatives on your Calendar. You can also view by Week or Days. Access the Calendar just above the Settings icon on your far left.
- To create a Custom Framework, hover on the Cybervergent icon and go to Custom.
- Click on the ‘Create Framework’ button
- Give the Framework a name and description. You can also add a custom icon.
- Click on Next.
- Pick the Framework Type and Period, and click Next.
- Finetune the Assessment Options, and click Next.
- To include an Artefact, add a Title, select a Type, and upload a Template where necessary.
- Click on Next
- Click Add Objective to add a control objective.
- Click Add Control to add a control for the first control objective.
- You can also import from a Library.
- Submit and save.
- To share a Custom Framework, first ensure you have one that has been created.
- Navigate to Custom from the Cybervergent icon.
- Now click on the green ‘Share’ button
- Add the email address of the recipients.
- You can include a message.
- You can share with only people with access (the listed email addresses) or anyone with the link.
- Save settings
- Navigate to Custom from the Cybervergent icon.
- Click on the 3 dots on the custom framework and select Edit
- You can now update the Framework, Type, Assessment Option, Evidence, or Controls.
- To view all your Artefacts in a single view, navigate to Artefacts from the Cybervergent icon.
- Navigate to the Cybervergent icon
- Toggle to the ‘Initiative’ tab and Start Initiative.
- Select or search for the Program or Compliance initiative.
- Give the Initiative a name and select duration.
- Assign a Business Unit to the initiative where necessary.
- Review and Submit.
- Alternatively, you can use the ‘New Initiative’ shortcut on your home page. Follow the steps above to achieve the same result.
- Congratulations! Your initiative will be created instantly.
Yes, you can edit initiative requirements post-creation. Follow these steps:
- Navigate to the Cybervergent icon.
- Toggle to the ‘Initiative’ tab
- Click the ellipsis next to the created initiative.
- Select ‘Edit.'
- Make necessary changes and save.
Modify existing frameworks to meet changing requirements:
- Navigate to the Cybervergent icon.
- Go to the Initiative tab and click on your created Compliance or Program. You can also use the Search Bar to find your initiatives under ‘My Resources’.
- Click to expand the selected control.
- Select the Self Assessment option.
- Select your organization’s option – Yes, No, Not Applicable, etc. and submit.
- You can add comments if desired.
- Notify users of framework updates
- Click on the arrow on your top-right corner to continue your self-assessment.
Yes, you can. Follow the steps to find your initiatives on the platform:
- Type the name of your initiative in the Search Bar.
- Find your initiatives under ‘My Resources’.
- Navigate to the Cybervergent icon and click Initiatives.
- Go to the Initiative tab and click your created program or compliance framework.
- Click Artefacts.
- Click the red Upload button to upload artefacts.
- Select the artefact (evidence) title.
- Upload the document.
- You can also get templates on Cybervergent.
To download templates:
- Navigate to the Cybervergent icon and click Initiatives.
- Go to the Initiative tab and select your initiative.
- Navigate to Artefacts.
- Click Word, select Get Template, and proceed to download the template.
- Navigate to the Cybervergent icon and click Initiatives.
- Go to the Initiative tab and click on your created program or compliance framework.
- Click on the Delegate shortcut at the top-right corner of your screen.
- Input the email address of the delegate.
- Click Save.
Digest is a report of your ongoing initiatives on the platform. To generate a Digest, do the following:
- Navigate to the Cybervergent icon and click Initiatives.
- Go to the Initiative tab and click on your created program or compliance framework.
- Click on the Digest shortcut at the top-right corner of your screen.
- Select Share with Me, Owners, or Delegates.
- You can also select All.
- Click Share to generate a Digest.
- Navigate to the Cybervergent icon and click Initiatives.
- Go to the Initiative tab and click on your created program or compliance framework.
- Click on the Recurring Controls shortcut at the top-right corner of your screen.
- Scroll down to Recommendations and select a recurring control.
- Click + to update the status.
- Select alert frequency, add a comment, and submit.

- Select "Profile Settings"

- Set your preferences and notifications
- Save your changes
Troubleshooting
- First, ensure that your internet speed is between 25 to 30 Mbps.
- Refresh the page.
- If you cannot access your dashboard, upload, or carry out other activities on the platform, please send an email to productsuccess@cybervergent.com.
- Please send an email to productsuccess@cybervergent.com and we will resolve the issue promptly.
Personalizing your profile is easy:
- Ensure you click on the “Resend Activation Email” button if visible, on the top-right corner of your screen.
- If you still cannot perform any activity, send an email to productsuccess@cybervergent.com and state your complaint.
Security & Privacy
Yes, you can opt for your favourite Authenticator instead of the Email OTP to log in. To do this, follow the steps below:
- Go to Settings.
- Select Security.
- Click on Authenticator.
- Scan the QR code to begin.
- After a successful sync, input 2 authentication codes from your device and verify.
